The CHM Philippines is fully enforced through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by 23 founding government agencies, non-government organizations and state universities who are sharing their biodiversity data for the information of various stakeholders. The group is called the "BIOWEB" or the Network of Biodiversity Stakeholders. CHM Philippines is a web-based information system providing data/information related to the establishment and management of protected areas and conservation of biodiversity in the Philippines. It is being spearheaded by the Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. |

| There are at least three subspecies; others have been proposed: - T. l. lucionensis: Luzon and Mindoro
- T. l. hybridus: Polillo Islands. Blue on crown less extensive, tinged with violet. More green on wing coverts.
- T. l. talautensis: Rest of range. No blue on lower back, plumage less yellow.
It is found in secondary forests to scattered trees up to 1000m. Flock size is usually under a dozen. They feed on berries, seeds, nuts and grain. Habitat loss and trapping have made them scarce on most islands except Mindoro and Palawan. Source: Wikipedia.org | |
